about

Deus Ex Machina (2015) by The Dyadics is the opposite of what you expect. It’s album oriented rock in an age of singles. It’s an evolving soundscape introduction in an age of instant gratification. It’s dealing with themes of spousal abuse, digital addiction, broken promises, and realization of self and community in an age of connected isolation. It’s a guitar solo and a bridge in the place of the second chorus. It’s live drums without samples. It’s a rescue when you think things couldn’t get any worse. In short, it’s an artistic statement in an age of entertainment.
